One of the things that makes our market so unique is the venue that hosts us every week! The beautiful barn at Homestead Manor houses the Thompson’s Station Farmer’s Market every Wednesday from 4-7pm, and this week we want to highlight the Homestead Manor farm, which has its own vendor booth with fresh produce picked right on the farm on the back 40 acres of the property weekly.
The organic HM farm not only sells produce at the TSFM each week, but it also serves as a source for Harvest at Homestead, Puckett’s Boat House and Deacon’s New South, which are all concepts of A. Marshall Hospitality. The farm team consists of Ashleigh Newnes, Tyler Hardee, Tracy Burks, and William and Ben Hansen. They work endlessly to ensure that the produce is fresh and ready to be consumed! Throughout the year, the farm harvests produce and herbs, including tomatoes, bell peppers, hot peppers, kale, spinach, collard greens, lettuces, cauliflower, cabbage, rosemary, lavender, mint, basil, peppermint, garlic, potatoes, beets, carrots, squash and zucchini.
If you stop by the Homestead Manor farm booth at the market, you will most likely find Tyler Hardee.
